This album is pure perfection with regards to black metal, as well as a great exemple authentic Québécois melodics.
Atmospherics? Got it. Blast beats? Have them. Some punkish vibes? Mais bien sûr ! Not as an overlay of the three, but shifting back and forth so effortlessly, my jaw literally dropped a few times during the first listen.
This masterful blend of everything BM is here accompanied by on-ne-peut-plus québécois melodies with the patent blend of Nordic angst with French melancholy. razumikhin
